What’s in it

Each part is there when it has something in it:

• Characters: he, she or they, what they’re also called, family, where they first come in, their chapters, a death, and their looks.
• Places, with their chapters.
• Scenes, as a table: chapter, words, point of view, place, the day (where the book says when) and the beat.
• Timeline slips, your structure and each beat’s scene, the glossary (a meaning you haven’t accepted says it’s suggested from the book), your threads, your plan beside the book, and open notes to self.
