Wattpad word count trackerA Wattpad word count for every part, and checks on the whole story

Coming in the next update of Falcontext’s browser extension. Write in Wattpad’s story editor, and Falcontext keeps your Wattpad word count: the part you’re on, the whole story and today’s words. It checks every part for slips, like a name spelled two ways, and fixes the plain ones in the editor.

What the next update adds to the Wattpad word count

Wattpad gives you

  • A story in parts, each written on its own page
  • Drafts saved by themselves, about every minute
  • Publishing to Wattpad’s readers when you’re ready

Falcontext adds

  • A word count for each part and the story. The part you’re writing, the whole story and today’s words, toward a daily goal and a finish date.
  • The whole story checked. Your parts are read as its chapters, from Wattpad itself, signed in as you, so every part is checked without opening each one. A finding in another part opens that part.
  • Fix in Wattpad’s editor. A doubled word, even beside italics, or a stronger verb for an adverb, typed in as you would. Ctrl+Z takes it back, and Wattpad saves it with your draft.
  • A streak, counted with Falcontext closed. Allow Wattpad under Count without opening Falcontext in Settings, and no writing day goes missing.
  • Parts mapped as chapters. Bird’s Eye takes your chapters straight from the story’s parts, no headings needed, and the character tracker shows who’s in each.
  • Straight quotes stay straight. Wattpad saves quotation marks straight and … as three dots, so Falcontext offers no Fix that puts curly ones in.

Falcontext reads your story from Wattpad, in your own tab, as you. Your writing is never sent anywhere, and no AI is used on your writing in any way. How your data is handled.
