Achievements59 badges. One for your first words.

Achievements are badges for the writing you do anyway: your first words, a 7-day streak, a 2,000-word day, a book at its goal. The 41 for your writing are free on any plan; 18 more come with Pro, for shaping and finishing a book.

Where to find your achievements

Open ☰ → Achievements. At the top: how many badges you’ve earned. Below: Earned, then Keep going (the ones you’re closest to first, each with a progress bar) and Pro badges, the 18 for working on your book with Pro.

Earn one and there’s confetti and a New badge banner, with Share it, View badges and Dismiss.

The top of the Achievements panel: 12 of 43 badges earned, and the latest ones, among them Edit Streak, Prose Polisher (a Pro badge), Week Warrior, Goal Habit and Red Pen, each with the date it was earned and a share button.

What the badges are for

  • Words in total: from First Words and the 1,000 Club to Novel Territory (50,000) and Millionaire Writer.
  • Daily goals: hit your daily goal once, then on 7, 30, 100 and 365 different days.
  • Big days: 500, 2,000, 5,000 and 10,000 words in one day.
  • Streaks: a writing streak of 3 days up to a whole year.
  • Sprints: your first sprint to the end of the timer, 300 to 2,000 words in one sprint, and 10 to 250 sprints.
  • Editing: your first scene ticked on the Edit tab, 1,000 words edited in a day, a 3-day editing streak.
  • Your book: halfway to your total goal, and the Finish Line.
  • Sharing: Show & Tell, for sharing your progress once.

Badges follow you, not one document: words from all your documents count, and words moved between chapters of a manuscript count once. With sync on, your badges are the same on every device.

The Pro badges

Every badge for the writing you did is yours, on any plan. The 18 Pro badges are for working on your book with Pro:

  • Editing: Polished Scene (a scene ticked in all five passes), Clean Chapter (every scene of a chapter) and Final Draft (every scene of a book of three or more chapters); Slip Hunter and Slip Slayer, for 100 and 1,000 findings fixed with Fix.
  • The whole book: Manuscript Maker, your first manuscript, and Whole-Book Reader, a whole manuscript checked at once 10 times.
  • Your cast and your world: Full Cast and Ensemble (5 and 15 characters tracked), Cartographer (10 places), Lexicographer (10 glossary words) and Field Notes (your first Field Guide).
  • Plotting: Plotter (10 scenes in Your plan), On Plan (10 of them written) and Beat by Beat (every beat of a story structure marked).
  • Focus: Focus Devotee (Focus Mode 5 times) and Deep Focus (an hour in Focus Mode in one go), and Prose Polisher (the full Prose Analysis 10 times).

The editing badges and Slip Hunter keep counting on the free plan: reach one and it says Target reached! Unlock Pro to claim this badge. Places, the Glossary, the Field Guide, Your plan and story structures are new in Falcontext 6.0.
